Yes. Why bother to try to reason with fundamentalists if they aren't going to listen? There's a saying. When a person has grown up and has learned without logic, it is IMPOSSIBLE to reason them out with logic. It doesn't compute to their mindset.

It means that: If I were able to reason with a person in a religion about life and how somethings in the bible are wrong and the ways of life, then most people wouldn't be religious if they took the time to research. You see, I'm an atheist.
